Jennifer is originally from Buffalo, NY and has loved animals for as long as she can remember. She attended a specialty middle school built at the local zoo then continued working at the zoo throughout high school. She attended Syracuse University for her Bachelors of Science in Biology and after finishing school moved to California where she started her career as a veterinary technician. She moved back east in 2000 to be closer to family and lived in Niskayuna for 10 years, where both of her children graduated from Nisky schools.
She has worked in many types of clinics, from a single doctor practice to large 10 doctor practices. The patients were mostly cats and dogs but occasionally she got to work with pocket pets, reptiles, raptors and pigs.
After 24 years as a technician she still loves creating relationships with pets and their families.
When not at work she can be found in the gym, training for triathlons, camping, hiking or hanging out at home with her family that includes her spouse, two children, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a ferret.
